The Révélation is the iconic wine of Château Camp del Saltre. We use grapes from the oldest vineyards in the Prayssac Valley for this wine. This results in a vintage with great finesse, elegance, and complexity.
The wine is aged for eighteen months in new French oak barrels and is characterized by fine wood tones and complex aromas of black and red fruit, blackberry, jam, and a hint of vanilla. The palate is subtle and soft, yet full-bodied, with beautifully balanced and mature tannins that become velvety smooth with food. The finish is long and elegant. The Révélation is a perfect open-fire wine and pairs well with grilled beef steak, pasta, and tapas, among other dishes.

The Révélation tells the story of Cahors as it was meant to be. Long-winded reminiscing about darker areas, cool shadows, blackberry bushes, and plums. Red with a familiar Cahors undertone. Darkness, interesting frayed edges, shadowy scenes, engraved thoughts, blackberry bushes, natural plums, hints of sandpaper, and a touch of finesse. Extra fine, but still. It delivers a stimulating discourse on forest fruits and blackberry patches. The southwestern tannins then make the mouth water during the tales of duck breast and black olives, inviting another sip to check if everything is still accurate.
